Glenn Ellisor, OD
Dr. Ellisor began practicing in the HumbleKingwood area in 1985. He specializes in laser vision co-management, family optometry care, contact lenses, and treatment of eye disease. He is therapeutically certified and is an Optometry Glaucoma Specialist. Dr. Ellisor is the founder of Vision Source and has served as its President and Chairman of the Board since its inception on May 1, 1991. Dr. Ellisor has served on advisory panels for Ciba, Pilkington-Barnes Hind, Bausch & Lomb, Wesley Jessen and Alcon. He is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Texas Optometric Association and Harris County Optometric Association.
Dr. Ellisor graduated from Stephen F. Austin University in 1982 with a degree in Biology and graduated from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 1984. |
Keith Danz, OD
Dr. Danz graduated from The University of Houston College of Optometry. He also holds a Bachelors of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin. He received Honors for his outstanding clinical work at The University of Houston and has had externships in both primary care optometry and ophthalmology. He is a therapeutic optometrist with training in pediatrics, low vision, contact lenses, laser vision correction, and disease management.
Dr. Danz is a member of the Texas Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. Dr. Danz has lived in Kingwood since 1994. |
Christine Acosta, OD
Dr. Acosta received her Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Houston. She then went on to the University of Houston College of Optometry where she earned her Doctorate of Optometry. She completed her externship training at Eye Center of Texas, Good Neighbor Health Center, the San Jose Clinic and The Institute for Rehabilitation and Research. Dr. Acosta has received training in contact lenses, pediatrics, ocular pathology, low vision and neurophthalmology. She participated in a research fellowship with the National Eye Institute, taught pre-optometry students in the Texas Optometry Careers Opportunity Program and volunteered in vision screenings with Prevent Blindness.
Dr. Acosta is a member of the Texas Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. She is also fluent in Spanish. |
Jared Kenyan, OD
Dr. Kenyan is a Houston native and a graduate of Jersey Village High School. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science at Texas A&M University, followed by his Doctorate of Optometry at the University Of Houston College Of Optometry. His externship consisted of training at Alamo Eye Care in San Antonio, and the Naval Clinic at Quantico Marine Base in Virginia. Dr. Kenyan has returned to the Houston Area after practicing in East Texas for three years. He is experienced in contact lenses (soft and gas permeable), pediatrics, managing and treating diseases of the eye, and surgery co-management.

Hans Kell, O.D
Dr. Hans Kell has been involved in the development and operations of Vision Source as the Vice President of Practice Management since July 2008 at the Vision Source National Headquarters located at 1849 Kingwood Drive, Suite 101 Kingwood, Texas 77339. In 1991, he completed residency training in hospital based/geriatric optometry at the West Los Angeles Veterans Administration Medical Center in Brentwood, California. After completion of his residency program, Dr. Kell accepted a Staff Optometrist position at the University of Miami's Bascom Palmer Eye Institute where in 1992 he was promoted to the newly created position of Optometric Director of the Institute's Cornea/External Disease Service. In 1996, he left the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute to assist in opening a specialized medical/surgical eye care co-management center with the Pacific Cataract and Laser Institute in Anchorage, Alaska. In 1998, Dr. Kell was presented the Alaska Optometrist of the Year award by the Alaska Optometric Association. In 1999, he joined his brother in private practice at the Front Range Eye Health Center in Louisville, Colorado. From January 2001 through July, 2008, Dr. Kell served as co-administrator for the Colorado Vision Source group of franchised Vision Source eye care centers.

Dr. Kell is an active member of the American Optometric Association and is a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. Dr. Kell graduated from Colorado State University in 1984 and received his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern California College of Optometry in 1990.
